The Hydro-Guard HG-1 Standard Flushing System was the pioneer in Advanced Maintenance Flushing. The unit is designed to function in both warm climates and in areas that have frost depths of 18-inches or less. Used with a 16-event portable handheld programmer, the HG-1 Standard can be programmed to flush a water line up to 16 times per day, seven days a week.

The HG-1 Signature Flushing System was developed for use in both warm climates and areas that have frost depths of 18-inches or less. With the integrated 9-event programmer, the unit can be programmed to flush a water line up to nine times per day, seven days a week.

The Hydro-Guard® HG-2 Direct Discharge Flushing System was developed for use in warm to moderate climates. This model allows potable water to be discharged to a storm sewer, low flow sanitary sewer, swale, or retention pond. The HG-2 is available with either a reduced pressure zone (RPZ) or an air gap to prevent backflow.

Introduced in 2002, the Hydro-Guard® HG-3 LongNeck™ Standard Flushing System was developed for use in moderate to severe cold weather climates and can be operated all year in all weather conditions. All of the unit's mechanical components are located below frost depth, yet are easily accessed using Hydro-Guard®'s patented Cam-Lock Release System.

The Hydro-Guard® HG-5 Direct Discharge Flushing System is used by clients in areas with warm to moderate temperatures who prefer to direct their discharged water to a storm sewer or retention facility. Additionally, the HG-5 Direct Discharge Unit is available with a variety of back flow prevention options including an air gap or RPZ. The HG-5 can also be equipped with patented mechanical Thermal Control Valve to protect the device against freezing.

The Hydro-Guard® HG-6 Hydrant Based (Temporary/Emergency Use) Flushing System can be used anywhere in the water distribution system where a fire hydrant is available. Affordably priced, the HG-6 features a self-supportive design (does not hang on hydrant); erosion preventative splash plate and directional flow vents; OEM installed sampling and dechlorination tablet chamber; and an 8-inch height adjustment mechanism that will allow the HG-6 to match up with nearly all approved hydrant heights.
