The Hydro-Guard® HG-2 Direct Discharge Unit

The Hydro-Guard® HG-2 Direct Discharge Unit allows the user to connect a discharge line for the flushed water. Generally, this line leads to a sanitary sewer, storm sewer, retention area, or other disposal site. Once programmed, the Unit's 9-volt battery-powered controller slowly opens and closes a solenoid-operated valve at the preset days, times, and for the correct duration.

The HG-2 Direct Discharge Unit is constructed with non-corrosive materials weighing approximately 100 pounds (45 kilograms). Inside the cover is a 10-event battery operated controller, 9-volt battery, built-in sample port, brass Wilkins Zurn 975XL RPZ valve, and a two-inch nylon glass reinforced solenoid-operated valve. Two-inch, schedule 80 PVC male-threaded ends attach conveniently to your service connections.
